Fossil Project ExperienceSUN manages a team of more than 350 professional and technical individuals working in over 150 job classifications for one of the nation’s leading fossil generating utilities. SUN also managed all subcontractors and administrative, payroll and human resource-related functions over the course of the project, providing significant cost savings to the utility.  Over the course of this project, SUN supported:
- 18 SCR retrofits
- 20 FGD/Scrubber installations to meet the Clean Air Initiative Rule
- State-of-the-art IGCC “near zero” emission plants
- Start up, outage, payroll & test support personnel
- Outage support included providing turbine coordinators, clearance coordinators, electrostatic precipitator inspectors, outage superintendents and outage schedulers.
